Embracing the Sunshine: Spring and Summer Fun with Family and Friends
As the cooler temps begin to grace our days, I am reminiscing on how spring and summer beckoned us to embrace the outdoors and create lasting memories with our loved ones. From picnics in the mountains to thrilling adventures with the hubs, there's no shortage of fun that was had with our family and friends. Here are just a few highlights of our wonderful spring and summer.
Mother’s Day with some of our favorites! We had a blast and embraced this special day bowling and playing.
Rodeo days watching our good friend, Kree, rope and ride!
Learning how to play the banjo! It’s been a dream of mine to learn this instrument, so here I am….learning! I named her Ban Jovi!
Meet the newest member of our little family, Miss Eleanor Bovkoon Addis….the family turtle. She’s adorable and is honestly so much fun.
Outing with my great aunt and her sisters from St. Francis Convent. We love them so much and so thankful they consider us a part of their family! They are definitely a part of ours!
Lavender days at the lavender farm! This made such a fun day date for us!
An injured knee highjacked my summer, but I still enjoyed it as best as I could.
4th of July was full of friends, fireworks, and romance! We had a good one!
Our mini vacation to Austin got cut short due to the injured knee, but we still enjoyed some time away from home, catching up with old friends, seeing some family, and attending a good friend’s wedding. My favorite part was the venue of Natalie’s wedding! WOW! It was outdoors and the view was amazing! Of course the beautiful couple sharing their “I Do’s” added to this already beautiful venue. Watching my good friend walk into such a sacred new season was a blessing indeed.
Of course we had dog days of summer around here!
I’ve been wrapping up summer with family and friend visits and late nights binging Big Brother with the hubby. If you know me, you know I’m a fall and winter girl, so I’m SO STOKED for this season’s festivities. We are already filling up our calendar with friend fun, events, pageant judging (I can’t wait for this), family vacations, and of course give me all the pumpkin spice stuff!
What are you looking forward to most in the fall season?
